What is the difference between DALF C1 and C2?
C1 (4 papers) certifies advanced autonomy; C2 (2 more demanding papers) targets near-native mastery. The choice depends on your level and goal.
Does the DALF waive the university language test?
Yes. The DALF (like the DELF B2) generally waives the language test required for enrolment in French universities.
Do I need an excellent level to register?
You need at least a solid B2 to aim for C1. The preparation targets exactly the jump from fluency to the mastery expected at the exam.
