French conversation classes in a small group
Speak, get corrected, speak again: spoken French is best practised with others.
Understanding French is not enough: you have to dare to speak it, and for that you need people to speak with. A small-group conversation workshop gives you several of them in every session, with a native teacher who sets the topics, keeps the exchange going, corrects and makes sure everyone gets a turn. At Frenchee, conversation is the heart of every group class, whatever the level: nobody recites, everybody talks.

- Real speaking time: in a small group, everyone speaks several times per session, not once a month.
- Varied partners: different accents, rhythms and ways of expressing yourself, just like real life.
- Immediate, kind correction from a native teacher, on pronunciation as well as sentence structure.
- Topics announced in advance: culture, daily life, the news, work, so you arrive with ideas and vocabulary.
- Visible progress: the same people every week, so you have reference points to measure how far you have come.

Every session shows its programme class by class: you know what you will talk about before you enrol.
- 02
The teacher opens with a short language point, then hands the floor to the group.
- 03
Role plays, debates, storytelling, everyday situations: the formats change so that everyone speaks.
- 04
Recurring mistakes are reviewed at the end of the session, without interrupting the flow of conversation.
- 05
A note after each session, in your personal space, records the expressions and corrections worth keeping.

For learners who understand French but freeze when speaking: intermediates (A2-B1) who want fluency, advanced learners (B2-C1) looking for quality exchanges, motivated beginners who want to speak from the first weeks. The free test places you and points you to the right group.

Is there a minimum level for a conversation workshop?
Groups are formed by CEFR level, from beginner to advanced. A complete beginner joins a beginner group with suitable materials; an intermediate or advanced learner joins a group that already speaks with ease. The free level test points you to the right one.
I am shy: will I actually speak?
That is exactly the point of a small group: a handful of people, the same ones every week, and a teacher who shares out the speaking time and leaves nobody on the sidelines. Most students speak in the very first session.
How is this different from a free conversation club?
A certified native teacher leads, corrects and structures every session; the group is at one level and limited in size; the programme is announced in advance. You make progress instead of just chatting.
Can I work on conversation in private lessons too?
Yes, and one-to-one remains unbeatable for fine correction. But to get used to several partners, different accents and taking your turn in a real exchange, the group is closer to real situations. The two complement each other.
