Frequently asked questions
Is there a minimum level for a conversation workshop?
Groups are formed by CEFR level, from beginner to advanced. A complete beginner joins a beginner group with suitable materials; an intermediate or advanced learner joins a group that already speaks with ease. The free level test points you to the right one.
I am shy: will I actually speak?
That is exactly the point of a small group: a handful of people, the same ones every week, and a teacher who shares out the speaking time and leaves nobody on the sidelines. Most students speak in the very first session.
How is this different from a free conversation club?
A certified native teacher leads, corrects and structures every session; the group is at one level and limited in size; the programme is announced in advance. You make progress instead of just chatting.
Can I work on conversation in private lessons too?
Yes, and one-to-one remains unbeatable for fine correction. But to get used to several partners, different accents and taking your turn in a real exchange, the group is closer to real situations. The two complement each other.
