Online French group classes
Learn French together, in a small group over video, without compromising on quality.
A group class is the most accessible way to make steady progress: a small group of learners at the same level, a native teacher, and a fixed weekly meeting over video. You speak more than in a traditional classroom, you feel less alone than with an app, and each session costs far less than a private lesson. Frenchee builds its groups by CEFR level, from beginner to advanced, led by certified French-as-a-foreign-language teachers.
- 3 to 5 students per group
- from 54 € incl. VAT per session
- 100% online, native teacher
- Group not confirmed = refunded

The essentials
- A deliberately small group: everyone speaks in every session, and the teacher corrects everyone.
- Groups at a genuinely uniform level, formed by CEFR band: nobody holds the class back, nobody gets lost.
- A price per session far below a private lesson, with the same certified native teacher.
- Group energy: you listen, you respond, you progress together, and you keep going week after week.
- A safety net: if the group does not reach its minimum number of students, the class is cancelled and fully refunded.
How we help you
- 01
Pick an open session at your level: dates, times, teacher and the session-by-session programme are all shown before you enrol.
- 02
Not sure of your level? The free test places you on the A1 to C2 scale in ten minutes.
- 03
Book your seat by card; confirmation, the Google Meet link and a calendar file follow immediately.
- 04
Meet the same group and the same teacher every week, at times displayed in your own time zone.
- 05
After each session the teacher leaves a note in your personal space: what was covered, what to review.
Who it's for
For adults who want a regular appointment to speak French at a manageable price: absolute beginners who want to dare, intermediates stuck on their own, advanced learners looking for quality conversation. For exam preparation with a fixed date, a private lesson remains the better choice.

Frequently asked questions
How many students per group?
The exact number is shown on every session and is kept deliberately small: enough to create momentum, few enough that everyone speaks in every class. The teacher knows every student by name from the first week.
What happens if the group is not full?
Each session states the minimum number of students needed to go ahead. Below that threshold it may be cancelled: you are then refunded in full and free to join another session.
Group class or private lesson?
The group suits steady progress at a lower cost and speaking practice with other learners. Private lessons suit a precise goal with a deadline or a fully tailored pace. Many students combine both.
Can I join a group partway through?
No: each session is a coherent programme from the first meeting to the last, and enrolment closes when the first class starts. If the dates do not suit you, an email alert tells you as soon as a new session at your level opens.
How do the sessions work?
Over Google Meet, with a single link for the whole session. You need a computer or tablet, a camera and a microphone. Times are displayed in your time zone.
