Do you progress as fast in a group as in private lessons?
For the same number of hours, private lessons move faster towards a precise goal, because all the time is yours. The group makes up for it with regularity, listening to others and a cost that lets you attend more sessions. Over time, regularity is often what makes the difference.
Is a group class less serious?
No: the same certified native teacher, the same standards, a programme announced session by session and a note after every meeting. What changes is how speaking time is shared, and the price.
Can I pay for a group with prepaid lessons?
No. Private lessons are bought singly or in prepaid packs; a group session is paid by card, once, for all its classes.
Can I switch formats along the way?
Yes. A group enrolment is refunded in full up to 24 hours before the first session; a private lesson can be cancelled or moved up to 24 hours before it starts. After that, each format stays open, independently of the other.
